Tyco EMEA - C•CURE User Training Courses
Our user training courses are designed to enable students to explore the capabilities of C•CURE, and how to do the basics well by learning best practices in areas such has as how to effectively manage a cardholder database. Students will also learn how utilising the functions available can help save time and reduce operating costs.
Training for professionals by professionals.
Kara Newman is the Lead User Trainer in EMEA, with 12 years hands-on experience in managing access control within a high security environment where C•CURE was pushed beyond access control to become a security management system. Since joining Tyco in 2007 Kara has successfully managed our user training curriculum, as well as delivering engineering courses.
We offer training courses both in the classroom and, where possible, at your location. Below are some of the key benefits of these two options:
Classroom Based Courses
- Structured content with course material & demo software to take away
- Learn without the distractions of your working environment
- Small class sizes with a maximum of four students
- Hands-on with each student using their own C•CURE system
- Knowledge share; a classroom based course offers attendees the opportunity to meet other users
- Courses are held in the UK at the TYCO ACVS offices in Heathrow, and in Barcelona at the Tyco Distribution Centre.
On-site at a location of your choice
- Customised training delivered in your environment and suited to your needs
- Beneficial to those customers for whom getting staff off-site for training is operationally challenging
- Can be more cost effective for organisations that require a team of operators to be trained
- Customers requesting on-site training may be required to cover travel costs for the visiting trainer and shipping costs if any equipment is required.

Still not sure if a Tyco course is for you… Don’t take our word for it! Here are just some of the comments we’ve had from students:
“C•CURE can do so much more that I knew before coming on the training! We recently deployed it and I am excited to go & use it now.”
“In the twelve months since attending a Tyco training course my programming of the CCURE system has saved the company £15,000 !”
“Many thanks for putting in so much effort into our training. It was most enjoyable and I have had very positive feedback from all the team. We found the course most interesting and it has given us all a very good groundwork on which to get better acquainted with the C•CURE 800 System.”
“I found the course very informative, I was not aware C•CURE could do so many things! I also liked that fact there were only 4 people, and felt we were all given time individually when needed.”
"The course provided a good insight into the mechanics of the C•CURE application. My responsibilities are to manage the Access Control Team, the application and the Integrator Company, this course provided the information required for me to achieve this."
