The TSM800 Door control module acts as a triggering mechanism for hold-open devices in doors meeting DIBt guidelines for hold-open systems. It has a monitored analogue input and a relay contact (change-over switch) as a non-monitored output.
The TSM800 is used to control fire doors which are normally held open by magnetic door holders or similar devices. When activated, either by a fire signal or by a fault or isolation within the fire door zone the TSM800 will interrupt the supply to the door holders and the doors under control of the module will close. The module has the provision to monitor a contact to report to the fire controller if the door fails to close.
